# NEXO Agent Mail

NEXO Agent Mail is the managed email infrastructure for NEXO Desktop agents.
It provides full IMAP and SMTP mailboxes under nexoagentmail.com for assistant
accounts configured by NEXO Desktop.

Service summary:
- One managed agent mailbox per eligible NEXO Desktop license.
- Mailbox names are checked for availability before creation.
- Created mailboxes are linked to the NEXO account and cannot be renamed.
- Existing active mailboxes are restored automatically on a new device or after reinstall.
- The backend verifies real IMAP and SMTP login before marking a mailbox active.
- The mailbox is intended for the assistant/agent account, not for replacing the user's personal email.
